Join us in celebrating the addition of a Paramedic Assessment Unit at Station 59 with LA County Fire Department and LA County Supervisor Janis Hahn.

A Paramedic Assessment Unit is an advanced emergency medical services unit designed to provide rapid and specialized medical intervention in the pre-hospital setting. Equipped with advanced tools and highly trained paramedics, PAUs enhance on-site patient assessment and care, particularly in critical medical conditions or complex trauma cases. With the addition of this unit in Whittier, we’re insuring faster emergency response times for our community.
